Daily Poem
Out of the Blue
We are but a lightning flash
As if towards the sky we dash
Our chest puffed up like rain-filled cloud
With bark like thunder sharp and loud
Preceded by a rumbling tension
A gloomy outlook wont to mention
Or often not without a warning
Blue and clear a merry morning
Disappears with monstrous clap
As if from nowhere cheek feels slap
Oh how we’re tied to nature’s breast
With instincts we are left to guess
How innocent we think our role
To be the one with full control
Though our intent to be our best
Is often from our tight grip wrest
When shapes a devil from a saint
We see how soft is self-restraint…
