Snoodie and Slippers

Upon my iced feet
I feel much more chipper
For now cozy toes
Are encased in thick slippers
They are tucked in a home
That is fuzzy and warm
So the cold of the floor
Shall do them no harm
I also am sporting
My snugg-ily snoodie
Like wearing a blanket
But it’s really a hoodie!
With temperatures falling
The furnace be slow
Insulation by fleece
Is the best way I know
To stave off the cold
That hangs in the air
It’s much like pretending
I’m a grizzly old bear
In a swaddled cocoon
I am feeling no brrrrr
Instead so contented
In a coat of faux fur!
