The Spring Clean

There is a task I’m dreading

It’s winter’s coat we’re shedding

And welcoming such green

But we also must spring clean!

That means more than a dusting

An extra deep de-musting

In corners, under beds

Even crap within our heads!

I’m armed with cleaning products

To make that gunk go defunct

No more quits or stalling

I need me some Pine-Sol-ing!

There is a trick to grime

Chill and take your time

Do a couple tasks each day

Soon the dirt is on its way!

So get your mops and sponges

Stretch first with bends and lunges

When battle’s fought and won

Spring cleaning is all done!
